Acorn 130 Straight Stairlift - Green
/
If you’re looking for a straight stairlift which excels in comfort, practicality and convenience; then you don’t have to look further than the Acorn 130 T700 stairlift. A descendent of the original Acorn Superglide, the 130 has been refined and improved over the years to bring you the ultimate stairlift when it comes to comfort, safety and performance.
The Acorn 130 straight stairlift comes with a number of features to make you feel at ease when using the device, including having a 90° lockable swivel seat that allows for easy access getting on to and out of the stairlift. There are also safety sensors included to ensure that if something obstructs the stairlift, then it will stop its journey. The stairlift also features a diagnostic display to help you operate the Acorn 130, and has a remote control to allow you to operate it when it’s on a different floor. A back-up battery also ensures you can keep moving even if the first battery is depleted.
Easy installation is available through Multicare, which requires no structural changes to your home, and the Acorn 130 and its rail can be fitted quickly and easily to the stairs and not the wall. The slimline design and folding footrest means it can easily fold away when not in use, and the optional hinged rail design eliminates any obstruction or trip hazard, meaning the stairs are still easy to use for those that don’t require use of a stairlift. The Acorn 130 is an affordable and energy-efficient straight stairlift option with low running costs; and it also comes with a 2 year guarantee, protecting you in the unlikely event of a fault. The maximum capacity is 280lbs, which is 20 stone or 127kg, and a heavy-duty model has the capacity of 25 stone or 350lbs.
